She looked horrified after turning on the air conditioner. The air vents were covered with a black sticky substance. I grabbed a washcloth from the bathroom to remove the substance and parts of the washcloth stuff to the air vent. There was no way that we were going to stay in that room. We left that place and went to a different hotel.

I had to wait approximately 5 minutes for someone to come to the line, but I spoke with a technician on the internet. The person gave me a couple of troubleshooting steps to follow. One of those troubleshooting steps helped fix the problem with my system. I had to reset the system and replace a fuse. I didn’t even have to call someone for help after talking with the person online. It was very helpful to have a knowledgeable person online and the service was free. If I was unable to fix the problem with the furnace, then the technician would have been the same person dispatched to help with the furnace repair. I liked the fact that I got to speak directly with the person that was going to handle the repair. The new website features are really going to help with customer service.

Friday was a very busy day for me.

I started off the day with a ductless air conditioner repair.

One of my commercial customers called late last night. She was working in the office late when the ductless air conditioner stopped working. I told her that I could come and repair the machine last night, but she wanted me to wait until the morning. I met her at the office at 7:00 a.m. so I could start with the repair immediately. I don’t usually get up that early in the morning. I had two cups of coffee before I started my day. After the ductless air conditioner repair, I met with a different commercial HVAC customer to give the guy an estimate on some ductwork repairs. During the afternoon hours, I sat in the office and worked on paperwork that was way behind from the previous week. At the end of the day, I was tired and ready for a nap. I could barely keep my eyes open on the way home. The guy in front of me looked like he was falling asleep two. He was swerving all over the road in front of me. I thought the guy was going to cause an accident. I fully expected him to run into one of the cars, but he eventually left the highway on one of the exits. The guy was swerving left and right and I was surprised that he managed to get off the interstate without hitting any other vehicles on the road. Someone could have called 911.
