I wasn't staying there after seeing the air vents
A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I had some problems in the house and we had to go to stay in a hotel for a couple of days.
The place where we normally stay was closed for renovations, so we had to stay at a hotel that was close to the office.
The hotel isn’t exactly a five-star luxury hotel. We got a company discount rate because the office is closed and we pay for clients to stay there when we have a case. It had been a while since I had been to the hotel, but I definitely remembered it being a lot cleaner and nicer. When my wife and I walked into our room, the first thing that I smelled was stale cigarette. I asked for a room without smoking, and my wife and I were informed that all of the rooms were no smoking. I turned on the lights to look at the water glasses. I like to check the water glasses for stains. This place didn’t have water glasses or an ice bucket. The television was screwed down to the table in a bracket. It wasn’t even that nice of a television. My wife turned on the wall air conditioner. She looked horrified after turning on the air conditioner. The air vents were covered with a black sticky substance. I grabbed a washcloth from the bathroom to remove the substance and parts of the washcloth stuff to the air vent. There was no way that we were going to stay in that room. We left that place and went to a different hotel.
