Central heating is on holiday
I like this flat because it is on a quiet street, but living on the top floor of the building would be great because you get more sun and have a huge terrace to hang out on
I see nothing but blue skies when I look out the window of my office, and it will be this way for the next six months. The cloudy weather doesn’t come back here till the middle of October and then it will be cold and dark for the next six months after that. I like the seasons though because in my last town where I lived it was just hot in one season and warm in the other. Here we have four seasons but no snow, which is also nice because driving in the snow is no picnic. Heating is still needed here in the winter, but when summer comes there is no need for it as the air conditioning system will be running full blast. I think that I will stay in this flat for another couple of years and then move to a rooftop flat with my lady so that we can grow some herbs and fruits on the balcony. I like having a central HVAC system in this flat, but the next one may not have one as some of the units in this town only have space heaters to keep people warm in the summer. I will buy a mini split air conditioner for the new flat if there is no climate control system and then maybe get a fireplace installed in the living room.
