Weird weather requires heating and cooling

At this time of year, the weather is absolutely unpredictable.

After dealing with temperatures in the forties and running the Heating and A/C plan on heating mode for many weeks, the outdoor conditions abruptly warmed up.

All of us had a month of temperatures in the eighties, necessitating the switch to air conditioner. I thought the two of us were done with the cold weather; Unluckyly, the conditions keep changing from 1 afternoon to the next. We’ll care about a couple of afternoons of gorgeous weather with drastic heat and then many afternoons of cold and rain. I have a packaged equipment that provides both heating and cooling capacity… Changing from heating to cooling mode is as simple as pushing a button on the temperature control. However, it just seems wrong to pay to pump cold air into the home 1 and invest in heating the next. I keep trying to go without heating or cooling until the weather straightens out. All of us are headed toward summer, and I guess the cold conditions won’t last, then last night, I just about froze to death. I refused to start up the gas furnace. Instead, I bundled up in overheated blankets. This morning, when I evaluated the temperature control, I saw that the temperature in the home was 60 degrees. I was sleepy of shivering and turned up the temperature control setting. The heating plan is now blasting heat from the vents. It feels appealing. I evaluated the weather forecast and saw that the outside temperature will climb back up into the eighties tomorrow. I’ll open the windows and hope for a breeze however really end up running the a/c. I am not looking forward to getting our yearly electric bill. Paying for both heating and cooling is going to add up.
