When my husband plus I purchased an older home, the two of us were excited by the wide front porch, big windows, high ceilings plus hardwood flooring; Both of us had no idea of the various challenges of a historical home.
Because the apartment is situated in an area that is considered a historic district, the two of us can’t make any fluctuations to the property without the approval of the historical preservation counsel.
