It’s cheaper to heat with gas opposed to electric

When the two of us got approval to build our home, my spouse and I were super gleeful to get started on the design process, but after renting for several years and then residing in older homes that fit within our budget, the two of us knew exactly what the two of us wanted and what the two of us didn’t want, but one of the top things the two of us wanted for our new beach house was a private gas line that allowed us to run our gas furnace off of gas! Most people the two of us knew were afraid of using gas to heat their new home because of the carbon dioxide risk, every one of us however, were glad at using gas to heat our new home over electricity.

Electricity was an efficient way to heat and cool any beach house and there were undoubtedly less risks, but the two of us wanted to use gas for a certain reason… In this area, the two of us experience a lot of Winter storms that leave us without power.

Occasionally, the power has been out for several mornings and we’re left with no heat! Having a gas furnace that ran off of gas would allow us to continue heating our new home during these power outages unlike an electric heater. A strong gas furnace would also warm our beach house faster and stronger than an electric gas furnace, and it’s unfortunate but electric gas furnaces are cheaper to install. But the two of us were willing to spend the money upfront in order to reap the benefits later. But thankfully, our company understood why the two of us were adamant about installing a gas line for our brand new gas furnace and he was undoubtedly helpful in making these arrangements for us.
