Aunty wasn't happy about the faulty thermostat
My aunt invited me to stay with her for some time after graduating from college.
She knew I planned to go back home for some time once we spoke during the graduation ceremony.
But, she suggested staying in the city since it would be easier to find a job. In the meantime, I’d work in her restaurant and make some money to get me by. Dad said that was an awesome idea, and I moved in a few days later. My aunt lived in a nice home in an excellent neighborhood. Her restaurant was a couple of miles away and served the posh community. One day, I was home from work taking a break since I’d not done so in some time. I tried to turn on the cooling system, but the unit wouldn’t work. I called my aunt at work to inform her something was wrong with the cooling system. It seemed the thermostat wasn’t working, which made my aunt unhappy. She was busy at the restaurant and requested I get in touch with the HVAC repair business in the area. I had to book an appointment, and no one was available to come and fix the faulty thermostat until the next morning. We had to rely on portable HVACs to remain cool that evening, and my aunt was so happy when the cooling system expert arrived the following morning. He managed to locate the issue with the faulty thermostat and suggested changing it to a smart one. It was an excellent move since we could not operate the smart thermostat using an app on our phones.
