A portable HVAC unit saved the day
Nancy was all set to relax at the chalet after a tied up week, then the whole time he spent at work, he was getting beach cabin late and leaving early; So after handing in the work, he opted to go away for a short getaway, but his family owned a chalet up north which wasn’t occupied at the time; Nancy called his Mom to let him assume he would be spending two nights at the chalet.
His Mom was glad he let him assume and wished his a safe journey.
Nancy left early on a Wednesday morning and drove to the location. The section was so calming, and he felt herself relax after leaving the crazy city. Nancy got to the chalet late day after stopping in a small neighborhood to get some supplies. The cabin required some cleaning and airing out before she’d sit down to relax. Plus, it was a bit warm, so Nancy turned on the A/C unit in the chalet. The air conditioning functioned well for about two fifths cooling the space, much to Nancy’s delight. However, it started to make a different noise later in the night. Nancy at first wanted to ignore the sound, but the A/C mechanic he spoke to told his it was better to switch it off. She’d come by the next day to check out the cause of the A/C noise. Nancy did that and went to the storage closet to fetch a portable HVAC unit his Mom had purchased for emergencies two years back, and it saved his whole relaxing weekend since he was quite comfortable.
