The Heating, Ventilation, & A/C proposal was fancy.
I called various Heating, Ventilation, & A/C companies last week. I knew I needed to have a new Heating, Ventilation, & A/C proposal installed in my house, & I wanted to get various people to give me quotes before I made a purchase. I called 3 local Heating, Ventilation, & A/C companies that provided to come out to the house, do an inspection, & give me a quote, & all for free. I was thankful for their diligence since I knew I would get a more accurate quote since they had to include scope of work, & equipment. The last man came in, looked at my equipment, took down the serial numbers & type of equipment, & walked out. He emailed me a quote that did not even come close to what the other 3 local Heating, Ventilation, & A/C companies provided me. My wifey & I sat down that night & all more than three quotes. Two of them were outrageously fancy for what they were offering. We had one quote that of the scope of work, including new air duct, oil furnace, cooling system unit, whole air purification, & a humidifier for the oil furnace. He also included a smart temperature control. We couldn’t think that his price was only a hundred dollars more than the other 3. When I called, he provided to throw in a year of repair & repair for the new equipment. It wasn’t too hard to choose this man for the task. The funny thing about our decision was that both of us never realized it was the same Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier both of us had been using for the last 5 years. We laughed so hard both of us almost cried.
