The kitchen in our dream home isn’t sealed
My husband and I recently found our dream home, however we didn’t think we would find our dream home this quick and both of us were very surprised that it was the first house both of us saw.
- My husband’s best friend is a real estate agent so he has been helping us figure out what kind of home we are looking for, and he told me he thought he found the perfect place for us but we were both a little skeptical since we hadn’t seen anything yet, then once we walked into the house both of us knew it was ours, it was exactly how we had imagined our first home to look like and we were so excited to put in an offer.
My husband’s best friend, our real estate agent, warned us that the home did have one flaw. He said the kitchen wasn’t sealed properly and it would cause us to lose heat in the winter months. I told him it didn’t matter to us because we will entirely have the Heating and A/C system replaced by then anyway. My husband and I wanted to make sure we had a brand new Heating and A/C system installed in our new home so we didn’t have to worry about things like this, but the home we love is a bit older because we like that type better. So we did expect to have to pay for little updates like this when purchasing a home. I have a feeling that getting a brand new heating and A/C system installed will be high-priced, but I know it’s worth it in the end to have our dream home. I’m so excited to move into this home with my husband and a little Heating and A/C system disadvantage won’t keep us from being very happy and excited about the new house.
