Climate control didn't mean central AC

I didn’t know the difference between climate control and central AC, until I made a reservation at a bed and breakfast down south.

My girlfriend and I went to a tropical location and we didn’t want to stay at a hotel.

We decided to stay at a smaller resort with several Bungalows. The advertisement online stated that each one of the bungalows had climate control. I thought the small place would be perfect for my girlfriend and I, so I made a reservation for the week. When my girlfriend and I arrived, we were very surprised by the accommodations. The bungalow was much smaller than we anticipated. The pictures made the kitchen, dining room, and living room look like separate areas inside of the Bungalow, but they were in fact one large room. The house didn’t have central AC either, and my girlfriend and I were anticipating being comfortable during our one-week stay. I expected central AC, because the advertisement stated climate control. I quickly realized that climate control actually meant ceiling fans in every room. My girlfriend and I were both disappointed by the lack of AC, but we didn’t let that stop us from having a great time. We stayed out late and didn’t come back until we were so tired that the indoor air quality wasn’t a thought on our mind. That week down south was one of the most amazing trips I have ever taken. I would absolutely return to the same location, even if they don’t have central AC. The stunning views of the ocean and the reef were simply awesome.
