The hotel was a nightmare, but the staff was nice
Just a handful of weeks ago, our wifey plus I were on our way home from a long road trip.
We were truly tired, so the people I was with and I decided to stop at a hotel for the night.
We were on the interstate plus the people I was with and I didn’t want to travel far, so the people I was with and I picked a single of the national chains. There was a single person on duty at the front desk plus he looked to be in his early twenties. I gave the guy all of our information including our name, address, telephone number, plus license plate number. He gave our wifey plus I the key for room 308. My wifey plus I gathered a tote from the car so the people I was with and I could take a shower plus the people I was with and I took the stairs to the fifth floor. None of the lights were on in the room a single way open to the door. When the people I was with and I turned on the lights, I rapidly observed that the room had not been cleaned. The bed wasn’t made plus the powder room had towels on the floor. It really looks like someone might have been staying in the room. We closed the door plus walked back down to the front desk. The staff member apologized for the confusion plus gave us the key to a unusual room. This room was clean plus empty plus the A/C was already running. It was truly cool plus comfortable in the room. In fact, it was so cold that the people I was with and I had to adjust the temperature on the A/C before the people I was with and I went to sleep. Even in the middle of the night, the A/C kept getting colder plus colder, by morning, both of us were cuddled up in the single blanket on the bed.
