I was having a lot of problems with the oil furnace in our cabin and I went to the hardware store to find some parts to repair the issue! I was certain that the flame sensor was the problem, although I replaced it and I was still having problems getting the oil furnace to light.

I came out of the hardware store with a tote of supplies and Iwas ready to tackle the problem a third time, then the flashy yellow writing on the side of a white van caught our eye.

The van belonged to a heating and AC repair dealer. The van was sitting there enjoy a immense advertisement for help. I did not believe it would hurt to contact the number on the side of the van to see how much the business charged for a problemshooting call, but when I told the man on the cellphone that I saw their business van at the hardware store, I found out that I was talking to the driver of that vehicle, then each heating and AC repair specialist has their individual cellphone number on the side of the business vehicle. The guy came outside and talked to me for a few hours, and he offered me a couple of free problemshooting tips and he offered me his card just in case I still needed help. I went condo determined to repair the oil furnace on our own, although I still couldn’t remedy the problem without help. I called the guy from the hardware store and scheduled a repair appointment for the next afternoon. It was time for a professional to end our suffering.
