Got through the Summer with less air conditioner
I’ve always like and loved where I live.
- My wife and I are lucky to have the sort of condo that is a sanctuary and a haven.
That was particularally nice when the two of us spent nearly all our time inside that condo while in the pandemic. Both of us were stopped from going to labor in our downtown offices. The supplier wanted us to labor from beach house and didn’t open up those perfectly Heating plus A/C controlled offices until just a few short weeks ago. So the two of us spent a boiling Summer inside the air conditioner at beach house instead of at the office. But the two of us didn’t change our control unit discipline because the two of us were laboring from home. The two of us ran tests on our normal control unit programming which allowed the indoor temperature to rise to 76 degrees or just above while in the heat of the morning. This was entirely the warmest labor days my wife and I have ever experienced. However, there was an upside to less air conditioner. Since the two of us weren’t in the office, the two of us could labor in shorts and t-shirts. Even when the two of us had meetings online, we’d put on dress shirts however leave on our shorts and flip flops. The two of us also used fans to help guess cooler when it was boiling while in the peak heating hours of the morning. I was entirely sort of surprised by how suddenly the two of us were able to actemperature to such a warmer laboring environment. But that worked out nice for us as well. In the morning and the night, my wife and I would get out of the air conditioner and go for walks. And living with a warmer condo while in the morning helped us be much more comfortable with the outside un-even temperatures.
