The AC shut off earlier that morning
My boss promoted me to the shift director position a couple of weeks ago, i have been opening the store on Sunday and Thursday mornings since then.
I have a key to the store and I suppose the code to the alarm.
It is a lot of responsibility, so I gained a promotion and a raise in pay. I’ve been working every weekend since I got promoted. I do not mind working on Sunday and Thursday, because I can go to the beach and get sun any day of the week, but last Sunday, I had a couple of complications early in the morning, and the indoor air un-even temperatures were very moderate when I got to labor and opened the store. I adjusted the temperature control by a couple of degrees! Shortly after I opened the front doors and welcomed our first customer, I heard a loud sound coming from the back office where the cooling system is located… As I was walking back to the office, I heard the cooling system shut off. The cooling system did not come on again; Even when the temperature was warmer than the setting on the temperature control, the cooling system still did not blow chilly air, but not many of clients complained about the indoor air un-even temperatures. I called our boss to inform his of the indoor air un-even temperatures and the complication with the cooling system. She called a maintenance repair instantly, both of us spent most of the day separate from any cool air in the store, because the air conditioner repair professional couldn’t help until much later that afternoon.
