Many of our guests were really strangers.
My wife was planning this sizable gathering for a long time and she put a lot into it all.
We had tons of food, drinks, plus the two of us even rented a tent along with a powerful air conditioner system for people who wanted to relax outside.
It was a hot day and a lot of people decided to cancel coming to the gathering at the last minute. This was easily upsetting to my wife and she said we needed more people to come to our gathering, and she asked me if I knew anybody else who might come to the gathering at the last minute. So I ended up driving around and I asked random people on the street if they would care to come to our gathering. I explained to them what happened and how the two of us had guests who canceled coming to the gathering at the last minute. I told them we had good food, drinks, plus I even talked about the tent the two of us had with air conditioning inside. This peaked a lot of people’s interests plus they enjoyed the sound of us offering free food plus a fantastic time. It was absurd when I brought a bunch of strangers to our gathering, however they turned out to be some really nice people. I didn’t tell my wife that they were strangers from off the street, and they actually all played along and said that we had been friends for multiple years. Everybody enjoyed the food that my wife worked so hard to prepare, plus a lot of people enjoyed the tent with the powerful air conditioner unit. It’s funny because these people were so cool, and we all ended up being friends in real life plus they wanted me to call them if the two of us were hosting any future parties.
