When our child was only multiple, all she wanted to do was labor with her daddy.
She was forever trying to figure out a way to labor with him.
I caught her trying to hide in her suitcase so she could go on one of her company trips. I have to divulge that she consistently tried to let her help. She bought a small grass mower for her so she could help cut sod. She bought her a rake and shovel to labor in the garden. She even provided her her own seed packets and a small scheme of ground that she could care for. I watched her clean her brow with her sleeve, just care about she did. She would come in and tell myself and others that farming was taxing as she pushed up her sleeves and washed her hands in the side-by-side sink. The two of us don’t just own a farm, but our wife is the local HVAC serviceman. The two of us live out in the boonies and she is the only woman who is able to labor on the farmer’s heating and air conditioner. Many of us have barns that have HVAC. Our barn has its own ductless HVAC system. The two of us thought it would be safer for our livestock. One day, she got a call from one of our closest neighbors. They were having some problems with the heating plan in their birthing barn. She was all packed up and ready to go when our child grabbed her coat. She told her she wasn’t able to go with him on this labor trip. She cried until she remembered that her best neighbor from preschool lived there. She couldn’t help with the heating system, however she got to go with her daddy.
