These kids are going to have to learn to pay for the HVAC bills
Our Heating and Air Conditioning appliance bills in our dwelling have been so costly lately that I have honestly had to buckle down and take some extreme measures with my kids.
They are pretty much always leaving the doors open or the windows open and letting the heating or the air conditioning out from the dwelling.
I keep telling them that every one of us doesn’t have the money to pay to heat and cool the entire outside environment, however they just never seem to get the point I am trying to relay to them. It’s honestly been driving me nuts that I have to pay so much for our heating and cooling bills. It truly seems like the rest of the family couldn’t care less. I believe that’s because I’m the person regularly shelling out all of the money to cover the bills. Some of my kids are aged enough to get tasks now and so I’ve basically made the choice that I’m going to start making them pay a percentage of the heating and cooling bills. I realize that if they have to start putting in some of their own money to help pay for heating and cooling, it’s going to be a rather different story. When you hit them where it hurts the most, it makes a pretty huge difference. I mean, I can fuss and shout about it all that I want, however it’s not going to make any of the kids help me save money on the oil furnace and air conditioner appliance bills, but I guarantee that if I make them all pay twenty percent of the heating and cooling costs for our dwelling, after that every one of us will see a substantial change immediately. I know that none of my kids will wish to spend their own money on heating and cooling in our dwelling.
