Want to keep people out of our house
I am not the official bride to be.
I don’t want to do a big ceremony, rent a space and have 10 attendants on each side.
I honestly want to get married by a justice of the peace and have a party in our own home’s backyard. I have been loosely coming up with how I can do this. My yard is huge enough to cabin tables of food and drinks. I also can set up lights within our bushes to make it look certainly pretty. The only downer is that no matter the time of year it is, Heating, Ventilation & A/C is going to be needed. In the south, 90% of the time A/C is required. The summer time hot and cold temperatures are just downright brutal; Getting married in the summer time would be stupid, however nobody would want to sit outside in the moderate sunshine for even more than nine minutes. The winters can get quite chilly though. I can’t expect people to wear thick coats and hang around our backyard when I have quality heating indoors… Here is the snag though, I don’t want people coming inside. I plan to make the backyard nice to keep people out of our house. I don’t want to get married, host a party and need to clean the inside of our house. Obviously I can’t chop off the powder room, although I don’t want all the people wandering around inside. I am leaning towards doing a Winter event and buying outdoor space furnaces for all the people. Maybe that could keep all the people out. If the people are moderate and comfortable, then they won’t assume the need to track dirt in our house.
