Who is this guy? This HVAC technician is trying to convince me that my air filters need to be replaced.

I swear they were replaced a few months ago but I can’t quite remember.

This guy isn’t John. John is my favorite heating and cooling technician who always makes sure that I have the best experience when he comes over to look at my HVAC system. He is so knowledgeable and he has been with the HVAC company for a very long time. This guy that stands in front of me I have never seen before. Also, it looks like he just started to work for the heating and cooling company. So I really don’t believe his judgment on my air filters. He probably is trying to charge me for something I don’t need now. I asked him to call John but he says that John is on paternity leave. I would know if John and his wife were having a baby. He tells me everything and we share stories. Still, this HVAC technician is trying to convince me that if I don’t have the air filters changed, then there is a possibility of something going wrong with my HVAC system in the future. He then provided me his phone number if I change my mind and said to call the HVAC business if I need another HVAC tech to take a look at my heating and cooling system. I really don’t want to work with anyone else and if John is on paternity leave, then I can wait till he comes back. I’m sure my air filters will be ok even though the HVAC tech is telling me that I should have them changed.

I tried, I really have but this woman doesn’t believe anything I say.

The main reason for her is that she wants to see John, he has been her HVAC technician for the last 15 years and he has been out on paternity leave for about 3 weeks now.

Mrs. Anderson really needs her air filters changed but she wants an expert opinion of John. John, after all, is a great heating and cooling technician but he won’t be able to help her for a while. I’m just afraid in the next month or so her HVAC system may start encountering issues and then the cost to repair or replace her HVAC system could be far greater. I tried calling John to ask him to speak to her but he didn’t answer. Knowing him, he probably turned off his work phone for a couple of months. I don’t blame him but I’m trying to do my best for Mrs. Anderson. I told I tried calling and he didn’t answer but she said if she doesn’t hear from John then the air filters will not be touched. There really is much else I can do but provide her with my number if she changes her mind. I also told her that she can call the heating and cooling company to talk to someone else if she needs to. I tried one last time to explain the importance but she was very firm on her decision. John must have made a really big impression on her and that’s amazing but if he ever decides to leave the HVAC company, Mrs. Anderson probably will let her heating and cooling system break.

I may not have the memory I used to have but I know from talking to my son that I have given so much that I should be proud of what I have achieved in life.

As I sat here listening to this small tape recording I made two years back when my memory started to go, it always brings joy to my face. It is difficult to think that after 15 years, my cooling business is shutting down. I knew this day was going to come, plus if I really wanted to, I could keep my air conditioning supplier going for another 5-10 years, however I don’t really want to. You see, my a/c supplier is a family owned plus operated supplier. I have been simply running the supplier for the past 15 years, plus when I asked my child plus daughter if they would be interested in running the air conditioning supplier when I was done plus close to retiring, neither of them seemed actually interested. Since I don’t really want to sell the supplier to anyone else, I am just going to close it down plus retire peacefully. It is incredibly hard, because right now this local heating plus A/C business is one of the best in the area. But I would hate to sell it plus potentially have someone ruin our great name. A lot of heating plus A/C businesses have greatly increased their prices to where it is difficult for shoppers to afford. My supplier has not increased its prices at all, I wanted to make sure all shoppers could still afford to get high quality heating plus A/C plus not have to worry. That has been my main focus from the start, ensuring most people have an opportunity to have quality heating plus cooling. That is why I don’t really want to sell my business, because if I do, someone else would most likely increase the prices like all of the other air conditioning companies, plus I just don’t want to see people struggle. I am not really sure how people can have 15 or 20 year aged heaters plus air conditioning devices plus be satisfied. I am not talking about people who can’t afford better plus more efficient heaters plus cooling machines, I am talking about the people who can afford new heating plus A/C technology, but for one reason or another they really don’t. Maybe I am just actually unique about how I want things, but when my previous cooling component was around 10 years old, even though it was still working, that is when I decided it was time to get another heating plus A/C component. My favorite granddad is the complete opposite though, when I went over plus visited his home, I observed his property felt actually heated. At first I was sad for him, because I was worried that his a/c stopped working plus I was going to call a heating plus A/C supplier for him, although he informed me his central air conditioning still worked plus was fine. I ended up finding out that his heating plus A/C system was over 20 years old! I offered to buy him a new one, but to my surprise, he told me he was perfectly satisfied with his new heating plus cooling machine, plus he didn’t want another. In his opinion, his property felt great. I still couldn’t even think this, however I wasn’t going to force him to change his mind. If he wants to live that way, that is his choice, however I will happily live with my new a/c technology.

Something that actually drives me crazy is when I don’t have control over my own life.

• I have sadly been in situations like that, but thankfully, that was in the past plus I have managed to get out of that situation plus I now live in my own apartment.

However, there are still some things I don’t have control of, plus one of them seems to be the temperature control. This is exhausting enough, it is even worse when it is in the middle of summer time, when the temperatures are at their peak. I have finally called my proprietor over plus over, trying to get him to remedy the situation, plus he consistently says the same thing. He’ll send out the heating plus A/C tech later today. Does the heating plus A/C worker ever show up? No. I truthfully guess he just says that separate from ever contacting a heating plus cooling professional. It’s incredibly discouraging, plus the lack of temperature control is driving me crazy! I decided to try to call him again at least one more time, plus he said the same thing. I waited plus waited, plus no air conditioning specialist ever showed up, as I figured. I decided to call the local cooling supplier, plus they were able to send out a heating plus A/C specialist the same day. The trained air conditioning professional showed up a few hours later, and a few hours after that, my heating plus A/C component was working great as new.

Lately every single evening at the supper table or when my friend and I are resting on the couch, my wife has been mentioning heat pumps.

I wasn’t really sure where she was getting this from, since she has never shown interest towards heating plus A/C technology before, however I originally wasn’t even paying too much attention to it.

It wasn’t until my friend and I were enjoying television that I found out. My wife discovered a new television show she really loves, plus I hadn’t had time to watch it. Finally when I had a bit of time together, my friend and I sat down and watched it. My wife seemed disappointed, so I told her my friend and I would call the heating plus A/C supplier tomorrow to ask them about their heat pumps, plus see what they say.

Lately it seems like the weather has been all over the locale.

• It has been incredibly hot during the day, in the 80s plus 90s, plus really frigid in the evening, dropping in the 40s plus 50s.

The weather is like that occasionally, where it is all over the locale, it is something I have kind of gotten used to. To survive this kind of weather, I have found that having a highly efficient heating plus a/c system is actually important… Either that or if you have a tolerance for high temperatures. I am not even talking about older heating plus A/C machines either, when I first moved here, the central a/c that came with my property was quite old. There was also no way this aged heater plus a/c component would be able to heat plus cool my property efficiently. It took forever to honestly change the temperature in my home, plus so only after a month of living there, I decided to have a new heating plus A/C installation. Thankfully it honestly wasn’t as pricey as I thought, plus it only took about a day for the heating plus A/C team to be complete. Ever since then, my property has been heated plus cooled actually efficiently. I would highly command anyone moving to this part to consider getting a new cooling device. If you can’t afford getting a new central cooling device, then you could consistently try getting a portable a/c. I also heard those labor pretty well too. That is simply my advice for dealing with the temperatures around here.
