It’s been actually sort of a surprise just how much I’ve enjoyed the Heating & Air Conditioning cooling in the summer time the last couple of years.

For as long as we’ve owned this house, we’ve had a central air conditioner.

That said, my buddy and I never had Heating & Air Conditioning cooling added to the heating my buddy and I get from the gas heater. This was mostly because my buddy and I live so far north that the summers are particularly mild. Sure, it might get a bit boiling for a month or a bit more at the height of summer. That has everything to do with the fact that we’ve slowed down considerably & spent more time inside. My associate and I both have enjoyed the summers inside the central air conditioner now that the Heating & Air Conditioning cooling has been added. What’s sort of ironic is the fact that the last thing I do in the fall for winter prep is protect the air conditioner. I tend to tune sales people out. This is a sort of default reaction because I feel like somebody is constantly trying to sell me something. And that gets on my nerves at times. When my buddy and I moved down here, all my buddy and I wanted to do was be active.

• Having spent the last decade prior to retirement getting fit, my buddy and I weren’t about to waste it resting inside the central air conditioner of our new place.

My associate and I moved to the land of the heat pump from the superb pale white north. It was a change for sure. But a change that my partner & I had both been thinking about & planning for nearly as long as my buddy and I were getting our health back. I know the fact that when my buddy and I hit our mid 50’s in such bad shape was a wake up call. We’d both worked so strenuously inside the commercial Heating & Air Conditioning of our respective offices for so long that my buddy and I sort of let our health go. My associate and I wanted to be sure that my buddy and I reuse our fitness before it was too late. Plus, my buddy and I wanted to travel south to love a region where my buddy and I could entirely get out during the winter. The idea of playing hockey & enjoying a winter outside was so awesome. So my buddy and I wasted no time getting after it when my buddy and I moved down here instead of staying inside the air conditioner all the time. And it’s been a beautiful decade. These days, we’re slowing down a bit. While my buddy and I still prefer to get outside & do fun, active things, there are days where my buddy and I just aren’t up to it. Having the sunroom with the ductless heat pump installed was just the ticket for that situation as my buddy and I can kneel inside quality heating & air however still love the outdoors.

I live in a small town, and depending on how small your small town is you may or may not have a good amount of businesses.

In my small town there were less than 1,000 people so we only had one heating and air conditioning business, or at least we did until last year.

Last year I knew a heating and AC business came to our town and set up shop here and ever since then the main heating and AC business that was used to everybody coming to them has been competing with a Non-Stop. So ever since this new heating business came to town the two HVAC businesses have been at each other’s throats. They’re constantly competing with each other price wise and it’s actually kind of started some division in our town. Because now we have one part of the population that loves to go to one heat and AC store and the other half that likes to go to the other Heating and I see business. If you live in a small town drama spreads quickly, and apparently this trauma about who goes to which heating and air conditioning business is dividing families and friends. Honestly, I think the whole thing is ridiculous. Who cares who you buy your heating and AC products from? The main thing that I care about is that my heating and AC system works like it’s supposed to, that’s what’s important to me.

Where I come from almost nobody uses air conditioning systems. The reason that no most nobody uses air conditioning systems is because of how cold it gets where I live. When you live in a very cold climate like I do there is simply no need for an air conditioning system. Air conditioning systems are only used in climates where there is some heat that you need to cool down from and I guarantee you that where I live there is absolutely no heat they need to cool down from in fact even during the very hot summer months during the rest of the year, our summer isn’t even really much of a summer it’s like a slightly warmer winter. It’s just really cold around here and so what takes priority around here is our Heating systems. In fact there’s a lot of people that have multiple different types of heating systems in our community. So most people have a furnace of some kind as that is their main source of heating. However in addition to the furnace it’s common for a lot of people to also have space heating systems, fireplaces, and even sometimes radiant heated flooring. I even have a couple of friends that have radiated for it. It’s a whole other kind of heat source myself and it’s a pretty amazing one. I guess the point is, when you live in a really cool climate it’s important to have more than one way to heat yourself up because if one heating system stops working you don’t want to be without any heat at all. It’s always good to have a backup.

What happens when someone calls you on the phone and it’s a wrong number, well if you’re like me you tell them they got the wrong number and then I move on. What happens if somebody gets the wrong number in real life? Well then the situation is a little bit different. This is what happened to me today, I basically had a real life equivalent of a wrong number. I had someone show up at my door at like 7:00 in the morning. I had woken up to some really loud knocking on my door and I quickly came down the stairs to see what all the commotion was about. When I got to the door I saw that it was a heating and air conditioning repairman and he was standing out beside my house with a toolbox in hand like he was ready to just walk right in and start working on my heating and cooling system! When I opened the door he attempted to walk inside my house and start working on my heating AC system, but I didn’t know him and I had never called a heating and I ac worker so I blocked him and asked him what he thought he was doing. He told me he was here to repair the heating and AC system. I informed him that I had never called a heating and AC specialist out, and I didn’t have any appointment with any local heating and air conditioning business. He didn’t post and checked the address that he had been given and realized he had the wrong house. I apologized before leaving. I’m glad that he was a legitimate Heating and cooling specialist, because it always worries me that some people might try to get into your house by pretending to be an HVAC worker.

Today was such a wonderful day, I had a knock on my door around 12:00 in the afternoon.

This is surprising because I wasn’t expecting anybody but when I opened the door I saw that it was a very well dressed looking young man that appeared to be a door to door salesman.

He told me that he came to my house because he was going around the neighborhood representing a local heating and AC business. He wanted to show off some of their latest and greatest products and so he offered some of them for me for free to test out! I was blown away, how often is it that you have someone to come to your door and get offered free stuff? Definitely not often enough! I asked him what kind of free stuff it was that he was offering and he offered me a free air filter and a free window air conditioning system to go with it. When he told me this my jaw dropped, I asked him if he was sure and if this was some sort of scam and he insisted that these were freebies that were being given out by the local heating and they see business. They wanted to get people’s opinions on their products because they were confident in their products. There was no reason for me to say no to getting a free window AC or air filter until I accepted and took them. Now I can see why this heating and AC company is so confident in their products because after using both their window air conditioning system in the air filter for a month I can confirm that they are great devices.

After my wife and I moved to the city, we had to find a house quickly.

We knew that we were going to be there temporarily, but we didn’t want to spend a year or two renting.

We decided to buy a small two bedroom house about 30 minutes outside of the city. The house was in great shape, but we did not take the time to have an inspection service performed before we bought the place. There are some serious problems that need to be addressed. One of the problems is with the furnace. The furnace does not work at all and it’s starting to get cold. I really didn’t know who to call for great rates and excellent customer service. My wife spoke with a lady at the bank and mentioned the problems we were having. The lady at the bank mentioned but she knew a person that might be able to help. The lady at the bank suggested a company locally owned and operated. The company has been in business for more than 50 years. When I looked up the company online, I was pleasantly surprised by their up-to-date and informational website. There was even a place on the website where I could contact someone directly or chat with an online representative. I thought it was pretty cool and interesting that I could talk with a representative online before I even paid a dollar to the company. I scheduled an appointment a few days after I talked to the lady at the bank and she was right. The heating and cooling company offered great rates and excellent customer service. They also had same day appointments available.

One of my favorite features is the ability to change the temperature so it’s warmer in the house during the day

A few months ago, my wife and I decided to replace the furnace in our home. When we updated the furnace, we decided to get a brand new thermostat too. We went with a programmable thermostat that has several different settings. The programmable thermostat makes it much easier for us to control the indoor temperature. We can literally set different times for the system to go on and off and the heating or air conditioning system does it automatically. It took some time for the two of us to learn how the programmable thermostat works, but there was a pamphlet that came with the system and inside of the pamphlet there was information regarding all parts of the thermostat. The brand new thermostat also included troubleshooting help. We didn’t really need any of the troubleshooting help, because the service technician explained how the thermostat worked. He spent at least 15 minutes explaining all of the features to my wife and I. We honestly couldn’t be happier with the product that we purchased. The new programmable thermostat has a lot of cool features. One of my favorite features is the ability to change the temperature so it’s warmer in the house during the day. My wife and I are saving about 25% on our electric bill now, just because we can’t adjust the temperature during the day. It used to be 72 24 hours a day, but now we make the temperature 78 degrees when the two of us are at work and it saves us a ton of money each and every month.

My days off every week happened to be Tuesdays and wednesdays. These are the only days during the week when I have the whole day off and can handle tasks and chores like going to the grocery store and the bank. I don’t get paid until Thursdays, so I have a lot of trouble handling things on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I’m not great at saving money. I contacted a local HVAC maintenance company to service the heater before the winter. I made the appointment for Tuesday morning on my day off. It was 9:00 in the morning and I expected the HVAC repair and service technician at any moment. I waited and waited, but no one showed up. I started to get frustrated around 9:30 in the morning and that’s when I contacted the HVAC maintenance company. I asked the person on the phone when my service technician was going to arrive. The woman looked in the ledger to see who my appointment was scheduled with and she informed me that the appointment was scheduled for thursday. I honestly don’t think there’s any reason that I would schedule the appointment for Thursday because it’s not my day off, but I couldn’t argue with the lady on the phone. I asked her if she could schedule the appointment for Wednesday instead. She had no problem rescheduling the appointment and apologized for the mix-up. She did not know if it was something that I did or something that they did, but she was very nice and kind and eager to help me fix the problem and make things right.
