I have been slowly modernizing our house, every room gets an substitute & color change.

The previous owner certainly was a fan of rustic & cottage feeling.

I ripped down wallpaper with chicken on it & plaid curtains. I removed the seasoned brown carpets & added gray tile. I then painted over the beige & did a light red instead. All the wood is painted white. All the plastic is changed to nickel. I am most proud of our hallway. The hallway went from brown rug to gray tile. The walls went from wood paneling to white. The ceiling changed from snacks to smooth. I then added recessed lighting & new switch plates. The plastic thermostat was the last to go & the best a single to change. The thermostat used a toggle in order to change the temperature. It could only go in the range of 10. So it was either 60, 78 & 78 degrees. My hubby bumped it with her shoulder constantly. The two of us now have a smart thermostat. The Wi-Fi thermostat has a silver surround & red innerface. It has a touchscreen & lights up when I walk by it. It visually is beautiful. It functions unbelievable too. It has a yearly program that it learns & automatically does. I get alerted to air filter fluctuations, issues with humidity & energy saving tips. It is entirely nice that I can control it from our cellphone. I use that feature all the time. It is unquestionably nice to control the heat from our bed or when I am at the office.

It is cleaner, more efficient & a new way to give heating

My hubby & I are redoing the floors in our house; She has it in her head that all our floors should be the same. She wants the home office, kitchen, hallway & study rooms all to be the same tile, then i am not too satisfied with it. However, I said if all of us rip up all the floors all of us need to do heated flooring, that is the only time this heating plan can be placed down. It makes sense to put it in then, however my hubby is a bit worried since all of us live down south & the Winter time season is short. Why not add a heater? It will add value to our house. Our new Heating & A/C component is 20 years old. When it dies all of us can just focus on air conditioner. I appreciate the idea of the heating plan being beneath our feet too. The radiant furnace is silent in operation. It does not create cold spots either; Since it is electric based rather than air, the heat doesn’t rise & get wasted on the ceiling, and due to this, I could set our beach house thermostat a little lower & save energy. What is especially nice is that heated flooring warms everything that comes into direct contact with it. That means the couch, loveseat & chair will all think as a result. It is cleaner, more efficient & a new way to give heating. The only cons with this plan is that it raises & adds weight to the floors. I am not afraid of that. I think it is worth installing it.

I am glad enough with my job, but I’d rather be laboring as an artist! Art was always my first love, & back when I was in college I used to think that I was going to be an artist, i even considered going to art college a couple of times, but it never really worked out for myself and others for some reason.

• I still do art on the side & on opportunity I get a paying job.

I do not think that I ever would have been able to support myself as an artist, though. I think a lot of people can, but I just do not think that I was talented enough to do that, then anyway, since I did not think that it was going to labor out for myself and others to be an artist, I ended up going to college to get my heating & cooling certification instead. After high college, when I realized that art college just wasn’t going to labor out for me, I signed up at our local technical college & I went through the heating & cooling courses. I did really well in those classes & I really enjoyed reading all about heating, cooling, & ventilation technology. It has been about numerous years now since I started laboring at a single of the local heating & cooling companies here in town, & I have to say that I really do love my job as an Heating & A/C worker. It is not in the art field at all but it pays the bills & I appreciate all of the people that I labor with & my customers.

For some reason, the gym at our church is consistently chilly cold.

• That’s really nice in the Summer when the weather is warm outside, but during the Winter it is not a enjoyable thing at all.

Even though both of us have a nice high efficiency furnace set up in the gym, the locale still gets really cold. I don’t know if there is something going on with the HVAC system or what, but there is certainly something going on. Every one of us use the gym all the time for all kinds of things, & since the furnace isn’t toiling right now, nobody can really do anything in there at all. I know that there are numerous people who want to use the gym section for parties & birthday showers & even a baby shower, but they suppose savor they can’t do it right now because the temperature in the gym doesn’t seem to get above 63 degrees for some reason. Every one of us have a guy who does all of the repair work here at the church however he says that there doesn’t seem to be anything that he can do about the heating situation in the gym. He says that both of us need to call the commercial HVAC company who deals with the heating & cooling system in the building in order to get the gym situation figured out. I suppose he’s legitimately right, but there’s really nothing that I can do about it. I guess that the repair guy or the head superintendent is going to have to be the one to call & make the appointment with the HVAC company. They won’t come if I’m the one who calls.

I read about this site nearby in our neighborhood that is supposed to have all kinds of weird landscaping equipment plus pond supplies plus things like that but evidently they have gone out of corporation recently! Unluckyly for me, they were no longer available plus that was our only choice for pond supplies plus heating units for our fish. Without that store, there was legitimately nowhere else in our town that had anything at all that would toil for heating up the pond for the fish. I believe I am going to have to order a little heating component online for them or something. I would do not like to lose them over the winter.

Mia was due to travel back beach house before winter.

She had been away on supplier trying to land a immense international client.

The whole locale was adore living in some fairy tale novel, plus the deal was so successful that Mia was dazed when she got back home, however, the trip took various months, plus Mia only got back in the middle of winter. Her beach house location was freezing plus Mia had to turn on her oil furnace when she arrived at her house. She knew this wasn’t the best plan since she was yet to get heating service. However, it was too cold not to switch on the oil furnace. Mia then proceeded to contact the local heating supplier to come do heating service in her home. They didn’t mind that it was in the middle of winter. The heating expert sent to Mia’s house particularly said there was no problem, plus they can do heating service even in the middle of winter. There wasn’t much that needed to be done with the oil furnace since Mia kept it in nice condition; All the heating expert had to do was scrub it plus change the air filter before it got the orange light.

I enjoyed the massive city lifestyle.

I didn’t own a car, or a bike, because I could walk to take a taxi to somewhere I needed to go, and spoiler alert – I rarely needed to go more than a few blocks away from my small but stylish walk-up apartment.

There was always something to do, & many companies were open 24 hours a day. It was a hectic life, but always a lot of fun, and my lungs did not agree, & my nurse said that the pollution & awful air quality of the city was doing mangle to my respiratory system. Without better air quality, my life expectancy would be remarkably shortened. With that terrifying news in mind, I took a convey at labor & moved to the country, a place with ample natural ventilation, mediocre temps, & pristine air quality! Just to be on the safe side, I also obtained many current pieces of Heating & Air Conditioning unit for my current home. It was a picturesque ranch apartment on the edge of a vast field, & while the air quality was much cleaner, there was also the distinct smell of livestock. I set up an UV air purifier & a humidifier in my dining room, which helped considerably with the foul smells. I also obtained a dehumidifier, just in case I needed it a single day. The apartment doesn’t have a central Heating & Air Conditioning system, because of how mediocre the weather usually is, so I keep the smaller, portable Heating & Air Conditioning devices on hand for when I need them. I have to take my lungs, my health, & my air quality undoubtedly seriously.

I have always wanted to live on the edge of a desert.

Not the middle of a desert, of course, because I am not a lunatic, then what I wanted most was to have a lake condo overlooking the vast, gorgeous deserts of the southwest, plus yet still be close enough to mankind to get Amazon deliveries; In other words, I wanted to be a hermit however not live off the grid plus do things enjoy hunt our own food plus chop firewood for heat.

When I got to live out our dream it was even better than expected, then the only problem I faced was with the awful air quality, which was so dry plus dirty it affected our breathing. I invested in some new Heating plus A/C equipment, however not the normal kind you use to adjust the temperature. The air conditioner in the lodge was good for keeping our cool in the afternoon, plus sizzling at night. It was not good for air filtration, which needed a big boost in order to rectify the issues with our air quality. I also needed to find a powerful humidifier, because of how dry the air was, dry plus dirty air doesn’t sound genuinely charming, however with some minor tweaks to the Heating plus A/C system I was able to rectify the situation. I had to wait approximately 5 hours for someone to come to the line, but I spoke with a contractor on the internet. The lady offered myself and others a couple of problemshooting steps to follow. One of those problemshooting steps helped fix the concern with my system. I had to reset the plan and replace a fuse. I didn’t even have to call someone for help after talking with the lady online. It was absolutely helpful to have a expertiseable lady online and the service was free. If I was unable to fix the concern with the oil furnace, then the contractor would have been the same lady dispatched to help with the oil furnace repair. I liked the fact that I got to speak directly with the lady that was going to handle the repair. The new website features are really going to help with customer service.
