I do not know about you however for me whether is an important factor in determining where I live. I am not one of the lucky people who gets to live in California, but I do want to make sure my environment is semi-pleasant throughout the year. Instead of creating heat or cooling power, geothermal pump simply transfer energy back plus forth between the ground in your house. This leads to enormous savings each year and improved respiratory health plus overall comfort in my case.

Is it just me or is being a grown up super exhausting? I mean first you have to have a full-time job just to have baseline items in your life, like a home, clothing, plus food, however these nights, most people have to have a second job to fill in their other needs.

Man, do I hate cleaning. I’m just not a naturally tidy person, I guess. It’s not that I don’t appreciate a clean house, so much as I’m simply incapable of maintaining one. I can do a massive cleaning spree every month or so if I have to, but I’d much rather have someone else come in and manage my vacuuming, dusting, and general home maintenance if I could afford it. That’s why I dearly dread the onset of spring each year, when the time for spring cleaning quickly approaches without the opportunity for respite. Nothing is more frustrating than getting a few days of wonderfully warm and sunny weather, and then locking yourself in the house to clean up a year of messes. I can’t handle the process of being trapped inside a musty and stale house, while looking out the windows to see brilliant sunshine and warm breezes. The only thing that helps me tackle the mental distress of spring cleaning these days is the existence of our wonderful whole-house fan. You see, we have a specialized ventilation system at home that really helps us to manage the indoor air quality. It’s called a whole-house fan, and it works amazingly well to draw a huge volume of outdoor air to the inside of your home in the blink of an eye. The massive fan kicks into gear, sucks in a ton of air, and passes it through the attic. This pulls in the natural air outdoors and flushes the old, stale air out of our home through the roof. It’s not a perfect system, but at least the whole-house fan improves the air quality in a jif so we can do our spring cleaning sounded by new, fresh springtime air.

There are a lot of things to get used to when you move across the country, that’s for sure.

There are many challenges, but I can also say that I’ve never lived in a more beautiful place in my life. I mean, I guess I shouldn’t say that like it’s a big feat, because I’ve only lived in two different states, but this one is definitely superior. What’s so great about my new southern home, you ask? The trees, mostly. This entire city is set in a tall, dense forest of wonderful trees, and I love every one of them. Our backyard, in particular, is amazingly beautiful thanks to the thick woods around us. There is only one problem with having such an arborous house; reduced air quality. I know what you’re thinking; how could more trees result in poorer air quality? Shouldn’t the tall plants filter out more airborne pollution and remove more harmful air contaminants? Well, perhaps they do, but they also cut down the amount of natural ventilation you can receive at home. With all these trunks surrounding us, the natural breeze can barely pass through the dense barrier. That means we rarely have the option for natural ventilation in our home, and instead have to worry about running our AC unit all the time. Not only is it expensive to operate central air conditioning all day every day, but I don’t think it’s that great for your health. I feel like breathing in artificial, treated AC air tends to irritate my lungs and cause great breathing difficulty. It seems so ironic that as we sit here, gazing at a beautiful green oasis, I still can’t breathe in fantastically clean outdoor air.
