Why should I have my boiler ran tests on

We installed our tepid water boiler almost twenty five years ago.

At the time it was one of the most efficient ones on the market despite the fact that I am anxious that my associate and I need to either upgrade it or, at the honestly least, have it ran tests on.

My partner is one of those people who feels that if it isn’t broken my associate and I shouldn’t mess with it. I am of the frame of mind that a little bit of attention could prevent a big problem. I know that there are no filters to be changed but there are supply pipes, a pilot, and the holding tank that should be ran tests on to make sure there is no corrosion or leaks. My partner bleeds the lines every other year or so despite the fact that I would just feel better if a qualified specialist were to check things out. I am also interested in learning about newer models that may be more efficient than the one my associate and I have now. Heating and A/C technology has come a long way in the past twenty five years and it wouldn’t hurt to see what is available. My friend and I may be able to save significantly on our overall utility bills and that would actually be nice. They may come out and tell us that everything is good and that my associate and I should just keep what my associate and I have, but they may have variations that would benefit us too. My partner is still honestly much against this idea despite the fact that I will keep working on him or have someone come while she is at work. If I have the information for him to learn maybe she will see things differently.
