Rude awakening at our hotel

When you save for months to go on vacation you expect everything to be perfect. Especially when you are going to the “Happiest Place on Earth”. The kids were actually enthusiastic to go in addition to we were looking forward to taking a break from the winter cold. My associate and I planned our trip for the middle of February when our own weather would be sub zero in addition to snowy. My associate and I felt that this was the best time to go in addition to the kids had a two week break from school anyway. Everything was great when we arrived in addition to just like we dreamed it would be. After three afternoons of endless walking in addition to standing in line we were pretty worn out. When we were awoken at two in the afternoon in addition to told to evacuate the hotel all of that changed. By the time we were all outside the emergency personnel had arrived along with the gas business. My associate and I were told by the hotel staff that the Heating, Ventilation in addition to A/C system’s alarm had gone off indicated that there was carbon monoxide in the building. They apologized for the rude awakening however said that it was for our own safety in addition to they would have the situation resolved as soon as possible. The night air was a bit frigid in addition to we stood there in our pajamas for over an hour. The kids were frustrated however in the back of my mind I was relieved that the hotel had a system with safety checks installed.
