Feeling cold at Super Bowl get-together
It was in the downsides outside
I went with my boyfriend & his family to their friends super bowl get-together. I decided to go because I did not have another get-together to go to. Plus I had nothing better to do. The get-together was seriously close & it was right by my boyfriends house. My fantastic friend and I walked inside, hung up our coats & sited our shoes in their garage. Once my buddy and I opened up the doors there were at least 30 people in the house. It did not seem like there were that several people in the driveway. My fantastic friend and I got our drinks & searched for the food. All of the food was situated downstairs in the basement. There were all sorts of food, so I grabbed a plate & piled my food on it. The only seats that were left open was ones by the sliding glass door. I did not feel the draft of cold air until I was sitting down for ten minutes. I looked around & saw that the other guests had put on jackets, then unfortunately I did not have mine. I nudged at my boyfriend to go shut the door. He said it was fine. About 30 minutes later he went to the host to see if my buddy and I could turn the heating system on. She told him a lot of people were complaining that they were hot. I don’t think people were, I think she was the only one feeling warm. She should have had more consideration for her guests & not just herself. It was in the downsides outside. Turning the temperature up through her control equipment would have been the most logical thing to do.
