A Frosty disposition
I am sure you have heard of the saying, “giving someone the freezing shoulder”.
This simply means that you are on the outs with someone plus are either ignoring them or not speaking to them.
I feel this is the reason that my parents have been so quiet lately. They are not talking to each other plus it has been going on for nearly three weeks. I have decided that this has to end so I called them over to have dinner plus discuss what the complication was. When they arrived I heard my mother say how nice plus toasty my home was while using a truly sarcastic tone. My father just rolled his eyes plus asked if I had any beer. Mom was in the kitchen with me plus asked in a truly loud voice who I used to tune up my Heating plus A/C system this year. I told her that I had gone with a current business because they were offering discounts for current buyers. From the other room I heard my dad say that I really didn’t need a tune up anyway so any cash I paid was wasted. I started to see a theme forming so I asked if they were having a complication with the furnace. Mom said that it was only a complication if it didn’t work when you wanted your home warm. She went on to tell me that my dad had refused to call for a tune up because he read that they were a waste of cash. Now, she has concerned all the time about the furnace laboring. She said that she feared that one afternoon she would come property from work or wake up to a freezing house. Now that I knew what the complication was I could talk to dad plus make him see the importance of repair on the Heating plus A/C plus what it meant to mom.
