My indoor fan is not laboring

I like to utilize as much of my heating, ventilation & air conditioner system as much as possible, but for example I like to use my fan that comes with my HVAC system; There are multiple times where I will go to my temperature control & switch on the fan so I can get more cool air flowing through my house especially in the summertime, then however when I went to my temperature control to switch the fan on, the fan was not laboring, before I called for repair there were a few basic things that I wanted to check before I called.

First I wanted to make sure that there was power to the indoor equipment & that my breaker that was downstairs in my basement wasn’t off… When I went to the breaker the breaker wasn’t off, so I knew that that wasn’t the issue.

Then I went to my air filter to make sure it wasn’t blocked with any dust or dander. But as I was pulling out the air filter I remembered that I changed the air filter about a month ago so that wasn’t it. So I called my heating & cooling corporation because I had a feeling that there was something a little bit more extreme with my fan & something that I could not fix, however luckily the professional was able to come to my condo that afternoon to diagnose the problem, however it turns out that there was a faulty fan belt which was preventing the fan from laboring normally. Thankfully the professional had an extra fan belt for my HVAC system & he was able to substitute it that afternoon so I was able to use my fan again!
