Radiant radiant floors in my lavatory spoil me!

Hydronic (hot water) radiant floors are far more efficient and better at being the primary source of heat for a home

A snow storm is blowing outside. I sit in my lavatory, peering out the small, frosted window, and I shiver as I imagine what the relentless cold outside must feel like compared to the soothing warmth I am experiencing in my lavatory. It’s moments like these that I am so delighted that I invested in radiant heated flooring for my lavatory. My lavatory has become my refuge on cold winter season mornings. It’s spacious and comfortable, and there is nothing like good in a warm bubble bath with a cup of gourmet warm chocolate, while I watch the little cable I have mounted on the wall. Heck, I’ve been tempted to sleep on the floor here on several occasions, just because of how comfortable it is! The heat emanating from the ceramic cement is generated by electrical coils installed just underneath. I will confess that the project was fancy and took a while, and I ended up having to get my floors ripped up and then redone, but I was planning on doing that anyway. That’s why I would request radiant radiant floors be installed when you are in the middle of renovating your floor anyway, so you would have already planned for the inconvenience. As you can well imagine, I’ve considered installing radiant radiant floors throughout most of the rest of my condo as well. The thing is though, it may not be a fine idea to use electricity for that. Hydronic (hot water) radiant floors are far more efficient and better at being the primary source of heat for a home. That would be legitimately fancy to install though, so it’s just a dream for now.
