I tied up the maintenance appointment for the wrong afternoon
My days off every week happened to be Sundays and Tuesdays.
These are the only days during the week when I have the whole afternoon off and can handle tasks and chores like going to the grocery store and the bank.
I do not get paid until Tuesdays, so I have a lot of trouble handling things on Sundays and Tuesdays. I’m not wonderful at saving money. I contacted a local Heating and A/C maintenance contractor to repair the boiler before the winter. I made the appointment for Sunday afternoon on my afternoon off. It was 9:00 in the afternoon and I expected the Heating and A/C repair and repair specialist at any moment. I waited and waited, but no one showed up. I started to get exasperated around 9:30 in the afternoon and that is when I contacted the Heating and A/C maintenance dealer. I asked the guy on the phone when my repair specialist was going to arrive. The guy looked in the ledger to see who my appointment was tied up with and he informed me that the appointment was tied up for Tuesday. I genuinely do not guess there’s any reason that I would schedule the appointment for Tuesday because it’s not my afternoon off, but I couldn’t argue with the man on the phone. I asked his if he could schedule the appointment for Tuesday instead, he had no concern rescheduling the appointment and apologized for the mix-up. She did not know if it was something that I did or something that they did, but he was undoubtedly nice and kind and eager to help me repair the concern and make things right.
