My newest purchase was a pool heater

For the first weeks residing here, I used the swimming pool every single day.

Occasionally many times a day! I would start every afternoon with a 30 minute swim, which became my common exercise routine.

In the nights I would float around in the pool sipping on a cocktail or a beer. It was perfect, plus I couldn’t have been happier. Then the weather turned… Since the lease started at the start of Summer, I had not experienced a Wintertide with a swimming pool. Almost instantly the water was too cold for my personal comfort, so I started looking for a pool heater. I did a lot of research online, plus found that even the best pool furnace on the market has its limitations. When the temps outside drop below chilly, the water in the pool is going to get uncomfortably cold. A pool furnace will keep it from chilly, but cannot maintain a bubbly 68 degree temperature under such conditions. Thankfully the temps around here rarely get that low, so the pool furnace does an excellent job with maintaining a nice temp in the water. This kind of component is similar to a water heater, but with a radically different construction. A water furnace is designed to heat a small amount of water up to the warm point. A pool furnace is intended to heat a big amount of water up to a point of comfort. I am not exactly sure how this kind of Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C technology works, however I do think that since I installed the pool furnace I have been swimming all through the Wintertide weather.
