Despite the language barrier, I got help with indoor comfort

I have always had this nagging feeling that we are meant to do more with our lives, like travel, experience each other’s cultures, and see the world and what it offers. We are souls in physical bodies that crave adventure. My mother always said I was as big as life and the universe would always be open. I have experienced my mother’s words in my life. Recently I had a thought to move to another country. I researched my destination country, and once I was satisfied, I packed my bags and moved. I stayed in a hotel for three weeks as I looked for a rental space. I found a two-bedroom house that was not in the best state, but the landlord allowed me to renovate it. I visited an HVAC company a day before moving, and although there was a language barrier, I got help with indoor comfort. The HVAC technicians at the company spoke very little English, while I only spoke English. The HVAC repairman showed me some HVAC systems in their inventory, and luckily, Google allowed me to translate them on the website. After weighing each HVAC equipment’s pros and cons, I settled on a heat pump. Back home, I had a furnace and would only use it in winter. The professionals managed to schedule an installation appointment. The experts knew more about heating from how efficient and fast they were. I read through their website and confirmed they also offered heat pump service and furnace/heater repairs in between, including furnace filter change. Despite the language barrier, I enjoyed quality heating from my newly installed unit. A year later, when they returned for HVAC maintenance, I had learned some of their languages, and we reminisced about the first day we met and laughed about it.
