The hydronic heating system was advanced and way more than I could handle
I’ve handled a lot of different jobs throughout my time as a repair technician.
I’ve had to repair air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, radiant heat, and even a fireplace.
Lately, I’ve had a couple of calls about hydronic heating. Hydronic heating is not a heating system that I am familiar with. It is not the type of heat that people in this area can’t afford. When a new customer called me with a hydronic heating problem, I agreed to look at the system. I honestly didn’t know if I would be able to help or not, so I offered to come by for free. The commercial customer had an advanced hydronic heating system set up with a commercial boiler and radiant heat throughout the building. I took one look at the system and I knew it was too advanced for me. I knew a couple of commercial service providers and I gave those names to the owner of the company. I apologized for not being able to lend more assistance, but I promised that the guy on the business card would be able to help.I contact the same person when I have questions or concerns and I also contact the guy when I can’t figure out the answer to a problem. He has never let me down or steered me in the wrong direction. I knew he would be able to help my commercial customer with the hydronic heating problems they were experiencing. about a week after I met with the business owner, I received another call from the guy. He wanted to thank me for giving him the name of the service provider.
