The clerk tried to give us a room with no view
My wife and I decided to rent a hotel room for our anniversary.
We wanted to do something special, and so we decided to go to the beach.
We rented a fancy hotel suite with a jacuzzi tub and a view of the beach. The jacuzzi tub didn’t work at all. My wife and I tried to turn on the Jets and we didn’t get any bubbles. We called the front desk clerk to ask for a different room. The guy told us that he did not have any more jacuzzi rooms available with a view of the beach. We asked for a different jacuzzi room, even if it didn’t have a view of the water. We ended up in a room with a view of the street. It certainly wasn’t comfortable in the room that we paid almost $300 for. I was aggravated beyond belief with the situation. The second room that they placed us in didn’t have a proper working AC. The machine rattled and hummed every time we turned it on. We could barely hear the TV over the sound of the air conditioner. We were supposed to stay in the room for three days, but we left after the first night. Neither one of us were excited to stay when the conditions were less than ideal. We could be at home saving money if we weren’t going to be enjoying a Jacuzzi room with a beach view. Thankfully the hotel desk clerk refunded all of the money for all three days of the stay after we complained and left early.
