Winter road trip gets plenty of good HVAC heating
The two of us don’t have much need for a four wheel drive vehicle where we live.
That’s not to say that the huge four wheel drive trucks are really popular because they are.
But we really don’t need all that. The Winter where we live hardly needs much help from the heat pump much less needed four wheel drive to get around. However, we did end up buying a vehicle that had front wheel drive and are we ever delighted that we did. This past holiday season, our spouse and I chose to travel way north to see his parents and celebrate Christmas. The problem was that there was a drastic opportunity of a snow storm. If we were blessed, we’d just beat and be at his mom and Mom’s before it hit a bit to the south. Well the best laid plans and all that. Of course, we ended up running right into the teeth of that snow storm. I’m a country boy from the south so all I knew how to do was turn up the control unit for more heating. My spouse is the 1 who had the experience when it came to driving in the snow. Between his skill and the front wheel drive, we got to a small motel just off the interstate. And there we found a room that had a huge wall unit HVAC system. It cranked out the best HVAC heating I have maybe ever felt in our life. It was all we could do to get some food as there was no driving for a morning or more. So we just hung out in the HVAC heating and relaxed.
