The new way
It undoubtedly boggles the mind how things have changed in the world, but especially in Heating, Ventilation plus A/C technology. These days 1 of the greatest things that have changed is the fact that everyone uses a smart control unit. Well, everyone except me. Smart control units are supposed to save you a lot of money on energy use. However, I am not a sizable fan of smart technology. I tried some of it before, but not in terms of control unit. I just do not enjoy the system of having to control a control unit on a cell iphone or tablet app first off. Second off, even though you do not have to do that, I have heard that smart control units being controlled by hand causes some problems sporadically. One of the main 1s I heard was the control unit not reacting to what you select. For instance, a friend of mine tells myself and others that her smart control unit when not controlled by the app will take forever to shut off. So if it is too cold from too much a/c or too hot from too much heating, when you go to shut off the central heating plus a/c it will not shut down! It can take up to 5 minutes for this so called “smart” control unit to figure out that you just hit the off button. That is horrible! You have to suffer 5 minutes unless you use the app. That to myself and others right there says imperfection plus flawed. Why would I want to mess with something that is flawed plus that no 1 ever mentioned? No thank you! I will stick to our old dial control unit.
