Before I make a purchase, go see a movie, or go to a steakhouse or a hotel, I learn most of the poor reviews.
The internet is a great resource because it could potentially save you from poor experiences.
I purposely learn the poor reviews because I would like to make our decision based on them, however you’ve heard the saying that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Therefore, if I notice that there are an enormous amount of poor reviews, it will tell myself and others that there are some weak links, so I will skip over that purchase. I follow this system when I try to find handymen or Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service specialists for our home. The last Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist that I found online had no poor reviews. In fact, everyone gave him a 5 star rating, and he had over 500 reviews that were written. Therefore, I didn’t hesitate to hire him to service our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit. He lived up to every nice review that I learn online, and I felt obligated to submit our own review. However, not all Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialists in our section have such a high rating, in fact, I learn some horror stories online where the homeowners felt like they were section of an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C scam. Most of these dishonest practices included overcharging for parts and service or replacing parts that were not needed, so that they could get more currency from the homeowner. There is no sure way of avoiding Heating, Ventilation, and A/C scams or dishonest specialists, but with some research as well as learning their poor online reviews, that could entirely save a homeowner some headache.
