Renting a venue separate from central air conditioning system
When we decided to proposal a surprise anniversary celebration for our parents, our oldest sister volunteered to take care of the guest list, invitations plus hiring a live band.
- My other sister provided to handle the catering plus flowers.
This left myself and others with nothing to do however book a site. As the youngest, our sisters don’t expect much from me. They constantly believe I’m going to mess things up. I was determined to prove them wrong. I made a list of the amenities that were necessary for the venue I chose. I looked for a locale that could handle our guest list, provide plenty of parking plus include a dance floor. I wanted an indoor plus outdoor area, string lights, actually accessible parking, comfortable seating plus a bar area. I put in tons of research, toured the unusual possibilities plus spoke with all of the managers about pricing plus available dates. Unblessedly, I timed all our visits while we were in the Spring when the weather was mild. My Dad plus dad’s anniversary celebration was scheduled for the end of June. All of us experienced unusually tepid plus humid weather, with temperatures in the low nineties. While we were setting up the decorations plus flowers, the venue was horribly hot plus sticky. I had no luck finding the temperature control to crank up the air conditioner. I finally asked the property manager about lowering the temperature plus was told that the venue is not equipped with central air conditioning system. Although we left the doors plus windows open plus ran box fans, the conditioners were uncomfortably hot. My Dad plus dad assured myself and others that it wasn’t a problem. Both our sisters were unhappy with me.
