New home requires new heating and cooling system

My hubby and I couldn’t wait to transport out of the city.

All of us were fatigued of our cramped apartment, constant noise and no privacy.

The traffic and lack of property was frustrating. All of us bought an older farmhouse way out in the country. All of us now have a sizable plot of land, a several-car garage and a wide front porch. All of us were gleeful with the plan of resting on that porch and sipping lemonade in the summer. I imagined hanging our freshly washed linens on the clothesline to dry. I couldn’t wait to have the windows open and welcome a fresh breeze while the two of us were in mild weather. Because the two of us moved in while the two of us were in the late fall, the weather was already rather cool. All of us needed to shut all of the windows and start up the oil furnace. That’s when the two of us l earned that all of the windows leaked air and there wasn’t reasonable insulation in the walls. The oil furnace couldn’t keep up with demand, and the home was typically cold. Since the gas furnace was super old, the two of us decided to invest into the replacement of a new system. The business tried to upsell us central A/C however the two of us declined. When the weather warmed up and the two of us opened our windows, the two of us discovered that our associate is a sheep farmer. The horrible odors, noise and bugs caused by a herd of sheep doesn’t allow for open windows. All of us can’t even tolerate resting on the porch. The home quickly became boiling and sticky, making it impossible to get comfortable or sleep. Although our budget was already slim from purchasing a oil furnace, the two of us had no choice however to invest in central A/C.
