His music was so loud, I couldn’t hear.

I had to call my HVAC company last week to have my furnace cleaned and prepared for winter.

I wanted to make sure everything was ready before winter started.

My furnace is beginning to get pretty old, and I know that it will soon need to be replaced. In order to keep the furnace working in peak condition, I wanted to make sure I had it serviced, cleaned, and inspected on a regular basis. I changed the air filters regularly, and I never missed doing it. I even had the ductwork cleaned and sanitized so the airflow wasn’t going to cause the furnace to be sluggish. So, when I called the HVAC company, I was surprised to be told they had an available HVAC tech and he could be at the house that afternoon. They told me he was new, and they would appreciate it if I gave them a review on his work. I was okay with this, but I didn’t want to feel like I had to scrutinize his every move. The young HVAC technician really was young. He looked like he was right out of high school. He introduced himself and showed me his badge. He then asked where the furnace was located. Before I walked away, he asked if I minded if he played his music while he worked. He explained that it helped him to concentrate. I wished I could have concentrated while he was taking care of my furnace. He had the music so loud that I couldn’t hear anything. I went to the door and yelled down…twice. I asked him to please turn the music down. I was finally able to talk to him about his job as a HVAC technician.
