The A/C in the truck was not working
My buddies & I scored free tickets to see our number one baseball team in the playoffs.
The radio station was having a contest & I was calling every single day to win those tickets.
It took a week, however I finally got through to the DJ on the 5th day. I received a couple of tickets to the playoff game which was tied up for a few days later. When I told my friends about the tickets, they were particularly excited… A good buddy offered to drive us to the game… She has a sizable truck that can seat 6 people. It does not get the best gas mileage, however it is particularly comfortable & luxurious. The truck even has a sunroof. I was happy that she offered to drive, because my vehicle is small & compact, however all of us would not have been particularly comfortable taking the trip in my small Chevy. On the day of our game, every one of us left town numerous hours early. All of us planned to stop for lunch & every one of us planned to get a hotel room before the game. Regrettably, every one of us did not have time for either a single one of these activities. On our way to the game, the A/C in my buddy’s truck stopped toiling. My buddy had the A/C on high, however every one of us couldn’t feel much freezing air. The fan wasn’t blowing particularly hard & the truck was starting to get hot. All of us had to pull over at a rest stop to check the truck. Luckily, my buddy happens to be an expert mechanic. She couldn’t fix the A/C problem, even though she did bypass the system so the truck wouldn’t continue to heat up. All of us managed to make it to the game, however most of the trip was a little too warm.
