Taking advice from certified fitness experts

I have recently picked up an interest in wellness and fitness. I have always been protective over my health and my body, but I have never actually gotten professional advice or help. Well, I started reading more on health and wellness, and came to the conclusion that if I really wanted to help my body, then getting certified fitness expert’s opinions would be helpful. Thankfully, I didn’t have to go far, as my dad’s friend who I only met once, was actually a personal trainer. I called my dad and explained my situation and he called his buddy for me to talk to. I told him about my interest in personal fitness programs and then asked for advice. He told me if I really wanted to improve my health, then getting a personal fitness trainer would be a good way to go. He also told me that trying different exercises, such as cross fit, would be very healthy. I took his advice and started looking online for personal fitness experts. Thankfully I didn’t have to search very far, as I found a certified gym that had all that I could have ever asked for. They were kind of far from me, far enough were I briefly considered local group physical training classes instead, but I decided that if the distance to the gym became a problem, I would try other options. Until then the gym I was going to had the workout programs I was looking for, including my dad’s friend suggest a cross fit gym, and even had a yoga studio, which I found to be really cool.
