We chose the upgrade the ductwork while our building was shut down

The downtown bank has been open since 1922! For roughly 50 years, the bank functioned as the only Savings plus Loan office in a 69 mile zone. My family was actually one of the original bank holders plus I am a resting member of the board today. My mother was a member while in the 1960’s, but that was the last time the bank decided to make updates plus renovations… It was during this time that the bank added a central heat plus a/c appliance to the building. That was the last time that the ventilation HVAC duct was actually changed, upgraded, or even assessed for necessary repairs. Roughly a week ago, we made the choice to close the main branch for crucial repairs. One of those repairs was replacing all of the heating plus a/c appliance. The people I was with and I discovered that the HVAC duct needed to be updated throughout the entire building. It was one of the major renovation projects plus an overpriced hit to our budget. Nobody on the board anticipated spending $55,000 to update the ventilation component plus HVAC duct. It was a rather extravagant bill, but a very necessary expense. All of the renovations are actually finished now plus the bank is supposed to open on the first day of next week. The people I was with and I are having a grand opening celebration to kick off the modern building. The people I was with and I contacted numerous food truck vendors plus we will have all kinds of cuisines represented on that actual day. The people I was with and I even have live songs arranged for that day. The people I was with and I are going to have a bunch of events for the children plus a few contests with prizes. It’s going to be a really great way for the bank to celebrate being in the town for approximately 100 years.
