Saving money with portable heater
I’m not a certified heating tech in addition to A/C specialist, so I am not sure if I am speaking out of my back here or not
I have been using a space heating unit for a long time now, and since then I have found out multiple pros and cons with them. The first thing about portable heaters that is very good, I’m sure you already know about this although I am going to say it anyway, is the fact that using a portable space heater is that it will save you a lot of money. One of the not so great things I have observed about using portable heaters is that if you use it for too long, the air will become incredibly dry, the air quality in your home gets a bit on the dry side. When I use the portable heater a lot in addition to the central heating, I notice that my eyes in particular will get dry. I will even get a sore throat because the air gets so dry. This is one of the biggest negative portable heating, and it doesn’t have an air filter like a central heating plan does, so I know that may have a little bit to do with it. I’m not a certified heating tech in addition to A/C specialist, so I am not sure if I am speaking out of my back here or not. However, this is just my personal findings of the extensive use of portable part heating systems in a home. Now this doesn’t mean you should not use portable heaters. I still use mine quite a bit, then just not as much to avoid dry air.
