One less thing to worry about would be awesome.
If we no longer have to keep a big box of filters in the basement and worry about ordering them from our HVAC service and supply company that would be great
Most people have heard the expression, “Dog days of summer”, but this refers to those really hot, lazy afternoons when even the family dog doesn’t have the motivation to get off the porch and the air is heavy with humidity as well. Well, with the way weather conditions are changing, it is becoming more proper in the south to experience the “Dog days” of spring as well. The temperatures where our sibling lives can reach well into the upper eighties as early as mid April and she depends more and more on her a/c to keep her house cool and dry. She is always saying that there are only two seasons where she lives, winter season and summer. They actually only experience colder temperatures for a short time and then they are right back to really hot and sunny afternoons. For this reason she makes sure to have the best a/c she can at her home. It seems like every couple of years she is upgrading or replacing some part of her a/c system to improve its performance or energy saving capabilities, and I can’t say as I blame her because we do the same thing with our furnace up here in the north. At any rate, she told me this year that she added a new air filter to the a/c system that is supposed to trap even the tiniest particles from the house and it sounds great. It utilizes a HEPA filter that can be cleaned instead of updated all the time and that will save her money too. I told my hubby about it and he is going to look into possibly getting one for our system too. If we no longer have to keep a big box of filters in the basement and worry about ordering them from our HVAC service and supply company that would be great.
