Air conditioner is too loud for sleeping
I told my wife that I would only go camping with him if she rented a trailer or a house with cooling system.
I am weary of camping in tents with no temperature control whatsoever. I thought this would be the end of it and my wife would just go camping with the youngsters, without me, despite the fact that I had no such luck. Instead, she went ahead and rented a travel trailer with cooling system. So I had to go with him. I didn’t guess it would be that bad because, after all, all of us would have the cooling system, and but that first night, all of us discovered a problem. The cooling system is super noisy. It’s impossible to sleep with the cooling system running in the trailer. It sounds appreciate I am trying to sleep next to a Mack truck engine. It does let off a lot of cold air but it’s also incredibly loud, then needless to say, I didn’t get much sleep that first night. I actually wanted to throw in the towel and to go lake house but my wife insisted that she had a plan. She left the cooling system running all day long and then she turned it off at night. This cooled down the trailer pretty well and it stayed relatively cool throughout the night. I did end up sleeping pretty well that night. The people I was with and I did this everyday throughout the rest of our camping trip. I have to say it wasn’t the worst camping trip I have ever had. It was nice to be able to cool down inside of the trailer from time to time throughout the day. Next time though, I am going to make sure she rents a trailer with a more quiet cooling system though.
