An HVAC technician knows what he doesn’t have to fix on his HVAC unit
I have a friend that is an HVAC technician, and I have learned so much about HVAC units from him.
I don’t hire his HVAC company to fix my furnaces, but he is always willing to give me some advice about my HVAC unit.
My friend and I have an ongoing deal when it comes to my HVAC units. He will always inspect my HVAC units for me for free, and I can choose to repair my HVAC unit myself based upon what he says is wrong with the HVAC unit. As long as I am willing to do the work, he is willing to tell me what is wrong with my HVAC unit. If I can’t fix it, then I have to hire the HVAC company. I have also learned that my friend probably has the most sketchy HVAC unit possible. When I went to my friend’s house, I expected to find an HVAC unit in superb condition. Instead, I discovered that his HVAC unit was in worse shape than mine. When I asked him why he didn’t fix his own HVAC unit, he gave me a very informative answer. He said that as an HVAC technician, he knows what problems are serious and what problems don’t matter when it comes to his HVAC units. If the problem with his HVAC unit isn’t serious, he will either wait to repair his HVAC unit or will refuse to repair his HVAC unit. He only fixes serious HVAC problems immediately. He saves money on his HVAC units by doing this. I was impressed. I wish that I had that kind of knowledge about my HVAC units.
