HEPA filters provide excellent air quality

HEPA filters are even being used in car air filters and heating and cooling systems, in high quality vacuums, and in most air purification systems.

A HEPA filter is a filter that can trap almost a hundred percent of particles from the air in your home. HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air, and it’s used to describe an air filter that can trap 99.97 percent of particles in the air, most HEPA filters are made of interlaced glass fibers, but the glass fibers are twisted and turned in many directions and as particles are sucked into the air filter, they travel through this web. That means they get trapped in the web and taken out of the air ducts and ventilation ducts in your home, but using a HEPA filter in your a/c or your heater will really improve the air quality in your home, and don’t worry about the particles that make it through the HEPA filter in your heating and a/c system. It’s not like those particles are going to go straight into your nose and respiratory tract. There are other technologies, for example, activated carbon filters, that work in air purification systems to help trap other things that a HEPA filter might miss. HEPA air filters were originally made to be used in factory settings but these days, they are being used in lots of different places where you might find an air filter. HEPA filters are even being used in car air filters and heating and cooling systems, in high quality vacuums, and in most air purification systems. If you’re dissatisfied about the air quality in your new home and you’re thinking of trying to make some improvements, spend the extra money to buy HEPA filters for your heating and cooling system. While you’re at it, buy an air purification system with a HEPA filter too. They are really worth the extra money you have to spend up front.
