It's always nice to have good heating and cooling when on vacation
It’s always a bit of a maneuver around the holidays for our patient wife and I.
When typically you’re the only 1s who don’t have children, the family tends to expect you to bend to their needs at Christmas.
This means that both of us are also the 1s that have to travel during the Christmas holidays… However, our families live way up north and they are about three hours apart, and the region both of us live in, all both of us need is a heat pump for the Wintertide and it doesn’t even come on all that much. This is the sort of Wintertide weather I enjoy. And there is a reason both of us traded the gas oil furnace for the heat pump years ago… I just dislike the cold and the snow and also the ice! So that always leaves myself and others with some mixed emotions when it’s time to travel to see both our families. I’m leaving perfect weather to go into terrible weather and a bunch of heating and air conditioning heating! Plus for both moms keep their respective houses in the control component zone of a sauna. It’s just so freaking sizzling in each of those houses. And if you’re ever outside, it’s dangerously cold, but however, as soon as I come inside, the control component setting is so high I want to rest around in our underwear. So, the ride house tends to be our favorite part. This year, due to a hectic snowstorm, both of us had to take a detour mid trip. This took us along outdated highways and both of us were just creeping along. That forced us to spend the night in a little roadside motel, and we thought it might be sketchy but it turned out to be really charming. Plus the place had an awesome heating and air conditioning unit. We were cozy and hot and it was just us so it was a delightful adventure.
