A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I went to visit some friends and family.

• We were going to stay with my wife’s sister, but she was having the flooring redone at the time and I thought it was going to be a lot easier for us to stay at a hotel.

I picked a hotel that was by the interstate. It was about 15 minutes away from my wife’s sister’s house. I thought we were close enough that we could get there anytime we wanted. He promised not the maid is supposed to clean the air filters when they clean the rooms. I did not think that was actually true, because the upgraded room had the same problem. It wasn’t as bad, so I didn’t complain. We definitely won’t stay in that hotel again though after seeing the condition of the heating and air conditioning system.

I was really bummed out when my girlfriend told me that she had to go away for 8 weeks for work. There was no one else that could take the photograph assignment which was in a different country. I knew she didn’t want to turn down the photography assignment. She was going to be photographing lions, zebras, and leopards in their own home environment and it was the type of job that my girlfriend dreamed about taking. Before she left to take the assignment, she went to the pound and found a dog for me. I didn’t know my girlfriend was going to bring home a dog, so I was naturally very surprised. At first I told her that she was going to have to take the dog back to the pound because I did not want to take care of anything. The dog was so cute and cuddly that he grew on me very quickly. He is white with black spots and reminds me of a dog that you can see on tv. I love the dog that my girlfriend picked out for me. He is the perfect companion. He lays on the couch with me and we watch TV together at night. Normally my girlfriend would lay down next to me, and it is nice to have the dog with me. He lays down on the bed at night, right in front of the space heater. It can get cold during the winter months and I have a space heater on the dresser by the bed. My dog likes to lay in front of the heater where it is nice and warm and cozy.

Ever since my boyfriend started smoking, I have had a lot of problems with the indoor air quality in the house.

He got bent out of shape and upset and we got into an argument. The next day I went to the doctor and we talked about my allergies. She said that a room air purifier might be able to help. A small air cleaning machine can help with indoor allergens and volatile organic compounds like nicotine odors. The doctor talked with me about a couple of different options and she told me to check out one of the medical supply stores that are in the town. I did not have money for an indoor air purifier or air cleaning machine, but I found out that I could get the doctor to write me a prescription for the air cleaning machine and my health insurance provider would cover 80% of the costs. I ended up getting a room air purifier for $27. The machine works great and it does remove 99% of the nicotine smell.

A couple of months ago, the office made some updates to the heating and air conditioning system.

• Downstairs in the storage room, there is a ductless air conditioning system with an air filtration system.

All of the files for the company are in the storage room and the boss wants to make sure that they are safe from mildew or mold damage. All of these files are still cases that may come up at a later date, so the information has to be intact and exact. In the storage room, the lights are usually kept off. There is a control room in the building and all of the heating, ventilation, AC, lighting, and security components are all monitored in this large room. We don’t have exact information for every place, but we do have some information for the storage room. Every time that storage room door is accessed, there is a small mark in the system. That means we can see every time someone enters and exits the room. It is a security measure to keep people from taking files home. Once a file goes home, we are going to end up losing important information so no one is allowed to take a file back to their home. There are two large tables in the storage room where people can look at files instead of taking them home. They can also make copies as well. One day, an employee went downstairs and disappeared for three hours. The lights were off and the AC was turned down to 67. The guy was napping on the floor of the storage room, just out of sight from the cameras.

My sister and her kids came for a visit.

While they were here in town, I spent almost $1,000.

I bought food and we went to a couple of different places. I wasn’t trying to save money and I knew that I wanted everyone to have a really great time. I knew that I was going to be able to work plenty of overtime after my sister went home and I would be able to replace the money in my savings account. Two days after my sister and the kids left, my AC unit shut down and stopped working. I tried everything I could to keep from calling a repair service. I went online and looked at all of the different troubleshooting tools and tips. I changed the batteries in the thermostat and I got a different air filter. I checked the evaporator coils to see if they were frozen. I did everything possible and then I had to finally break down and contact a licensed and certified HVAC specialist. The HVAC specialist told me what I already feared. I needed a new heat pump and air compressor. That was not what I wanted to hear at all, especially after my sister had just been there for a visit. When I heard the price for the system, I asked the guy if they had any financing options at all. I couldn’t afford the new heat pump and AC system and I was going to need help financing the project. Luckily for me, the service provider had several finance companies that he worked with and we had lots of lenders that were willing to give us money to buy a new heating and cooling system.

A few weeks ago, my husband and I had a tune-up performed on the furnace.

• Winter is right around the corner.

The leaves are turning lots of different colors like yellow and green. It’s nice to see piles of leaves everywhere. The dogs and the kids like to play in those piles. When the leaves start to turn colors, it is a reminder to me that it is time to have a tune-up performed on the furnace. A tune-up can be a great way to take care of your furnace, because it provides complete care to all of the electrical and mechanical components. A trained and licensed heating and cooling technician performs the work. They check all of the different components in the system for one low price. If they find any problems during the system check, they offer discounts to have that work completed right away. When my husband and I had the heating system tune up, we wrote a check to the company for $89. I completely forgot about the check and it finally hit the bank a couple of days ago. I had money in there, but not for the second check that hit for $89 as well. I had no idea how the bank got a second check for $89. I immediately contacted the heating and AC Service center. They did not have a record for the second check either. I contacted the bank and it was their error. The morning bank teller accidentally entered the check twice. The credit union returned all of my money as well as the overdraft fees for the check.

I’m totally surprised when a plane comes together without any problems or flaws.

That rarely happens for me at all.

One time I planned a trip to go camping with my friends and I forgot all of the tent stakes back at the house. It was a 3-hour drive to the woods and we did not have any way to keep the tent standing upright. We worked it out with some sticks that we found in the woods, but I knew my friends were pretty aggravated that I forgot one of the really important components for the weekend. I was worried that the same type of problems would happen when I threw a 25-year wedding anniversary party for my mom and dad. My sister was supposed to help me with all of the arrangements, but she kept disappearing every time we had something important to do. She blamed the disappearance on the kids or her husband, but she still wasn’t there to help me with the plans. I decided to hold the party at the firehouse. They didn’t charge anything to have the party there because I am a member. I didn’t have to pay for a rental of the tables or chairs. I did have to pay for the catering and all of the cleanup. I also paid a small fee to have three portable heaters in the garden area. The three small portable heaters made it much warmer on a cold and chilly night. The propane heaters looked nice and provided a lot of warmth in the outdoor area. My parents had an amazing time and my sister still took half the credit for planning and executing the party.

I started shopping at a budget friendly grocery store, I try to carpool with friends to save money on gas, as well as I have been using coupons more than ever. I’m still sort of stunned by the fact that I’m working from beach house in our own air conditioner instead of the commercial Heating & A/C at the office.

I do not think I would have believed it had you told me.

That’s because I guess beach house is where you came once the day was done. And work was completed inside the commercial Heating & A/C of that office. It’s been that way our entire work. Of course, I had not experienced a full on global health crisis in our work either. Because I have a condition that put myself and others a great risk for suffering badly with covid, working from beach house was the safest option. The business sort of took the decision out of our hands though when they closed our offices with the great commercial Heating & A/C. Everyone was going beach house to try plus keep things going by working remotely! From the very start, I wasn’t all that keen on working at home. I had a house full of teenagers trying to do school online while our wifey is also trying to work inside our central air conditioner. But I finally found a rhythm plus was amazed by how much better working at beach house became.
